ReSuture Selected As Arizona Innovation Challenge Awardee

After a multi months long review process, ReSuture was selected as a 2021-2022 Arizona Innovation Challenge (ACA) awardee. ReSuture was selected as one of ten companies from a highly competitive pool of over 100 applicants as a winner of the 2021-2022 Arizona Innovation Challenge. ReSuture’s business model and financial projections were evaluated over the course of several months during a multi-stage process by panels of experts selected by the Arizona Commerce Authority. The goal of the Arizona Innovation Challenge is to fund and support commercially viable startups that will bring jobs and industry to the state of Arizona.

As Arizona Innovation Challenge winners, ReSuture will be added to the Arizona Commerce Authority’s
portfolio with the award of a $150,000 grant and will participate in the Arizona Commerce Authority’s Venture Ready
Accelerator. This accelerator helps startups refine their business plans, improve go-to-market execution strategies,
and increase investor readiness. Additionally, the Arizona Commerce Authority will connect them with business and
financial mentors, high-level executives, and subject-matter experts to assist with growth and fundraising. The ACA
will serve as a partner to ReSuture as they grow and continue to provide support and guidance as they move towards
a successful Series A funding round.
